Personal Message from Loren:
I've had the opportunity to serve in fulltime ministry for over 31 years, and it is a great privilege to be leading Freshwaters UMC during this exciting time. I graduated from Bethel Seminary, Arden Hills, MN in 1980 and continued education at Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA during the 1990's. I'm married to an awesome wife, Ann, and we have 5 grown children and 7 grandchildren. We love to see our family, travel, fish and I enjoy hunting (although my aim is not necessarily improving with age)! My greatest satisfaction in life is to see folks move from brokenness to wholeness through a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. Through my own personal experience with brokenness, and through the restorative power of Christ, I claim as my life verse, "The word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time." (Jonah 3:1) As with Jonah, I am grateful to the God of second chances who will use our greatest life's pain to become our greatest life's message. We are all trophies of God's grace! Come join us at Freshwaters for a fresh look at God's amazing grace!
